I had a wonderful experience at this dealership with Christopher, Hudson and Robert! Made the experience quick and so easy!!

Buying experience was awful. Ended up hating the vehicle because features were misrepresented and testing on highway was not allowed. Salesperson didn’t go over delivery checklist. I found in my vehicle after I got it home. Found scuffs on the passenger side from the manager who drove this NEW vehicle for his personal use. Service also is subpar. They text you updates but don’t respond to your responses or inquiries. Also they added on unauthorized service to my visit, which extended my visit time by 30 minutes and caused me to have to cancel an appt I set up on my day off. Stay away. For the $, service and communication should be five star. Instead they treat you like you are on a conveyer belt for processing.

11/29/24 I ended up going back to Crabtree Toyota after sorting out the last interaction and buying a 24 Corolla Cross hybrid. Not the color I had originally wanted but I'm happy with it. Great car, excellent milage and I have nothing to say but great things about the service department. I had a warning light come on telling me about a hybrid malfunction. I called the service department, and they got me in right away. Turned out to be a loose negative battery cable. Problem solved. Now for what angered me. And shame on me for not picking up on it last June. I was putting my paperwork away in my file when I came across the window sticker. $33,729.00. Thats when I did the math. $1,000 down, $7,000 trade in on my 2013 Rav4 (Kelly Blue Book value) and $26,960.03. $34,960.03. That's $1231.03 for registration and miscellaneous charges. Ok. No problem. Yet when I hand the salesperson one of the "checks" for $2,500 off a new car that I still get in mail, I expect it to be honored! Especially when I was told it would be taken care of! For some reason I got no break on the price, certainly not the $2,500. After being told that they'll give me a great deal. Ya. Thank you for the great deal.

Purchased a 2024 Rav4 from Crabtree Toyota and couldn't be happier with the vehicle and the service we received. Nardia Pryce helped us with the sales of the vehicle but Kevin C also helped and Eddie, another one of the sales staff was very friendly. Hudson helped us with the final paperwork for the sale. Part of the sale included an installation of a trailer hitch and wiring to be completed once the parts came in. Very happy with our experience on the service side as well and look forward to working with those folks again.

Update from the 11/29/24 post which for some reason I can't seem to find. I really need to work on asking questions first and then making a jerk out of myself later. I was contacted by a representative from Crabtree who went over my complaint and broke down the numbers for me. I may not like it, but I can't dispute them. I certainly wasn't expecting anything, but he offered another year on my warranty which was appreciated even though I'm not sure if I deserve it. I should be getting the paperwork soon according to whomever I spoke with. I got his name somewhere. It was a pleasant surprise which I appreciate, and I have to say that Crabtree does follow up on any issues a customer may have. A lot of places simply pay lip service or just ignore people with problems. I was happy to be proven wrong.

My family was considering a RAV 4 Prime for a member of the family in the Army. We had searched several locations and dealers and found the car we were seeking at Crabtree Toyota in Watertown. Our initial contact with B. Anderson offered a great test drive at an appointed time. We were somewhat surprised by a premium being asked for the car. V. Colodetti worked that issue, although it was not simple. J. Devoe handled the final purchase. Yet the back office failed to deliver sales documents as agreed. J. DeVoe provided the documents which we worked hard to bring to the family member whose signature was required. Arrangements were made to take delivery. That evening we expected the car to be in the presentation garage. Upon our arrival, it was not there. J. DeVoe made things happen after several long waiting minutes. Lucas was superb in presenting and reviewing all the feature of the car. J. DeVoe recently called to reveal the dealership had filed for a rebate from the state. Great! A few hundred dollars back. So an up and down ride, with a good ending.

I had an awful experience at crabtree Toyota in Watertown and would strongly recommend avoiding this dealership. I went in simply to look at different SUVs and made it clear to the salesperson, Gregory, that I wasn’t ready to buy today. Just looking to try them out so I can make a decision. I didn’t want try a hybrid or new car. Despite this, the first car he had me test drive was a brand-new hybrid, completely disregarding what I had said. The entire experience felt high-pressure, with Gregory constantly pushing me to buy, even though I told him I wasn’t making a purchase that day. He continuously said “you’ll buy a car today” and “give me your debit card, but I won’t charge you” I spent over 3 hours at the dealership going back and forth during which they tried to manipulate the terms to get me to commit. When I explained that I needed more time to save, they suggested longer loan terms and badgered me with questions like, “What numbers do I need to hit to get you to buy today?” They even suggested I take the car home for the weekend, offering to put insurance on it, despite me repeatedly saying no. To make matters worse, Hudson, the financial guy, wouldn’t stop pushing an extended warranty even after I declined multiple times. After I said “listen we aren’t buying today we were just talking number” he stopped me and said “why aren’t you buying today?” And then got his 2 other guys to try and persuade me more. This was an incredibly frustrating and disrespectful experience. It felt like they didn’t care about my time or preferences, just about making a sale. I will never return. I plan to go to a different Toyota dealership. I strongly advise others to avoid this dealership.

Initially I had not intended on shopping at this branch, it was a snapshot decision. Had a very negative experience at another branch and I walked away from there unhappy and disgusted. Robert and Chris was incredibly helpful in getting me a monthly payment in my price range with my dream car. Typically I dread car dealerships because some will try to scam me but they did not do that. They were very accommodating and listen to what was my price range and what I was looking for in a car. Even during the waiting process they sat and made conversation with me, which I really appreciated. Hudson made the signing process very simple and quick even when we had an issue with me getting insurance and changing my protection plans. He did everything in a timely manner and had me out in 5 mins.

This was the best experience I have had with buying a new car. The people (Nardia Pryce, Ednei Lima and Nick Shala ) were terrific. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. They did not push me into a decision let me think about the sale for a few days. I just wanted to thank them for a great experience. One other place I went to tried to force me to buy a car I wanted to get it off the lot.
