Trading in and buying a new car is not usually a pleasant experience…as we know. The team at Crabtree set the standard for what all dealerships should be. The salesmen, Gregory, was very knowledgeable on the vehicle, features and warranties. The sales manager, Ednei, was very transparent with the value of the trade in. I was not sold on the trade in value at first, but he very meticulously showed us how and why he came up with the price. He showed us a comparable, how much it was accepted for, how much he wants, how much he will probably get, how much it already costed the dealership between with servicing and inspection. He then went on to show how long it sat on the lot (45 days) and how much he will get from it when he will be forced to sell it at wholesale auction. I saw all the numbers myself at it was quite clearly going to be a loss. For me, this was insider knowledge and he went above and beyond to share it with me to assure me the value of my trade in was fair. He then explained each line of the pricing and fees, gave us the vehicle for the night and a print out of the pricing. The next day we met with the finance manager, Jonathan, and he honored the print out of the pricing. On Sunday, Ednei gave me the price and on Monday, Jonathan honored that price. I think that is pretty rare these days, I remember at Dodge and GMC prices magically increasing on the walk from sales to finance..at which point I typically keep walking out of the dealership. I did not feel taken advantage of at any point in the quick process. I was happy to see the team communicating with clients in Spanish and Portuguese throughout the day and giving everyone in the area, regardless of language, the same treatment I got. The Crabtree family curated a very good team, that I would recommend.
